Playin’ Polo like a girl

I always love the opportunity to interview inspiring young, professional women. Libby Scripps, a professional Polo Player, based in the US is one of those women who is inspirational, followed her dream, gets to travel and inspire others to do the same.
Libby is part of the Polo Girls Society (PGS), a passionate group who do what they love. These ladies are ambitious, beautiful and have the ability to create a wave in the polo industry.  Polo Girls has over 7,400 facebook fans and growing www.facebook.com/PoloGirls - not bad!!
Being healthy never looked so good...
They’re breaking boundaries in the sport of polo and have a desire to reveal it to the world.
As someone who loves a good polo game, I thought it would be appropriate to interview Libby and share some of her professional and travel secrets and best tips…
- Where do you get your drive from when there seem to be so many barriers to what you aim to do?
My dad pushing me to be great 
- What city inspires you?
Pittsburgh, PA it’s wholesome, the people are real and very helpful to anyone with an entrepreneur spirit. 
- where would you love to play a game of Polo?
Central Park in New York City!!!
- You are gorgeous, fit and healthy – something so many women want! What beauty tips can you recommend for young women wanting to be healthy and radiant.
Moisturizer, exercise everyday, don’t be afraid to shovel the shit!  Always apply bronzer and mascara to make the eyes pop! 
- Seems that Polo is not just about the game, its also a business. Whats your 3 top business tips?
Stay in the game when it gets tough, never take no for an answer, and always do what you love…and hope God’s on your side.
Had to have a laugh at Libby’s last comment… Libby, you’re spot on!

  4. Playing Polo like a girl should really have been titled Playing Polo like a girl athlete.

    Not only is Libby Scripps an inspiration to many young women, she is truly an athlete. Try getting on a fourteen hundred pound horse charging down a polo field (nine times the size of a football field) at full speed swinging a mallet at a ball with seven other horses charging after you. Playing Polo takes guts, agility, strength and the highest amount of athleticism.

    Libby shared some interesting information with your readers but was far too modest. She and her contemporaries represent the very best in the International Polo community.
